Following CenturyLinks acquisition of Level 3, current SVP and GM of Federal Solutions Erich Sanchack will be taking on an SVP role for IT Services and New Market Development. As a senior VP of the combined company, Sanchack will be responsible for the go-to-market strategy and approach for the IT and managed services business, reporting to the new president and COO Jeff Storey.
After completion of the acquisition, Level 3s regional vice president of Strategic Government David Young will maintain his role and responsibilities pertaining to the federal government market as well as supporting research and educational institutions and state government contract opportunities. Young will report to Edward Morche, who will serve as president of Strategic Enterprise, Federal Government and State Government, effective upon the merger’s completion, which is expected by Sept. 30, 2017.
