Altamira Appoints Cassie Kurtz as Operations VP

Altamira Technologies has named Cassie Kurtz, a seasoned operations and growth executive, vice president of operations for the defense scientific and intelligence business in Dayton, Ohio.

In a statement published Wednesday, Altamira CEO Jane Chappell said Kurtz’s leadership and deep expertise in intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance and advanced defense technologies will be invaluable as the company continues to innovate and deliver cutting-edge platforms to mission customers.

Kurtz brings nearly 25 years of leadership experience across ISR modernization, defense intelligence and enterprise program delivery to the role.

Who Is Cassie Kurtz?

Kurtz is a mission-first executive who has led complex contract transitions, large-scale portfolios and global teams across the U.S., Europe and the Pacific.

The U.S. Air Force veteran spent nearly two decades at Booz Allen Hamilton, where she most recently led European intelligence programs from the U.K. She also oversaw Army intelligence initiatives across the continental U.S. and the Pacific and played a role in ISR modernization programs at the National Air and Space Intelligence Center.

Earlier in her career, she was a senior operations intelligence analyst in the Air Force.
