Carol DiBattiste, formerly chief legal and compliance officer at Comscore, has been appointed general counsel and corporate secretary of Tysons, Virginia-based risk analytics provider QOMPLX.
DiBattiste will report directly to QOMPLX CEO Jason Crabtree and her responsibilities encompass compliance, legal and people functions, the company said Thursday.
Her public sector career included roles as executive in charge and vice chairman for the board of veterans’ appeals at the Department of Veterans Affairs, deputy administrator at the Transportation Security Administration, undersecretary at the U.S. Air Force and principal deputy general counsel at the U.S. Navy.
She was a partner of Holland & Knight earlier in her career and previously held senior legal positions at Education Management Corp., Geeknet, Reed Elsevier/LexisNexis ChoicePoint.
