Carlos Kingston, former vice president of Qualis‘ missiles and space business, has been appointed to chief operating officer for the technical and engineering support services provider.
The Huntsville, Alabama-based small business said Tuesday Kingston’s new role entails oversight and leadership of Qualis contracts that require advisory and assistance services to the Defense Department, NASA and industry partners.
Kingston worked at the Missile Defense Agency as program director of the ground-based midcourse defense program before he first joined Qualis in 2014.
He served in senior leadership positions during a 30-year career at MDA and the U.S. Army.
