Carlo Zaffanella, a former General Dynamics (NYSE: GD) executive, has been named president and CEO of the maritime division at Ultra Electronics, according to his LinkedIn post published Sunday.
He joins Ultra Maritime from General Dynamics’ mission systems business where he most recently oversaw its maritime and strategic systems portfolio.
Prior to that role, Zaffanella managed intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance offerings within the GDMS unit.
Zaffanella first joined General Dynamics in 2009 and provided leadership of the company’s open combat solutions in his VP position.
