The U.S. Navy has awarded Carley Corp. a potential five-year, $93 million contract to develop new curriculum for the training of aviation platform maintainers and operators.
The indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract also covers updates to existing curriculum and provision of related training materials to the service branch, the Defense Departmentsaid Thursday.
Work will occur in Orlando, Florida, through July 2021, according to DoD.
The Naval Air Warfare Center Training Systems Division awarded the small business set-aside contract through an online competitive procurement process with five bids received and will obligate $10, 000 from the service branch™s aircraft procurement funds for fiscal 2014 at the time of award.
Orlando, Florida-based Carley Corp. provides custom-designed training platforms and related support for military service personnel and has a staff of project managers, training analysts, software engineers, instructional designers, media, logistics and information assurance professionals.
