TYSONS CORNER, VA, Oct. 18, 2021 — CAES will deliver radio frequency assemblies to L3Harris Technologies (NYSE: LHX) for use on a virtual electronic shield designed to counter threats to the F-16 Block 70/72 multirole aircraft, ExecutiveBiz reported Sept. 29.
L3Harris’ AN/ALQ-254(V)1 Viper Shield all-digital electronic warfare suite will be provided with RF assemblies and frequency synthesizer from CAES as part of the two companies’ partnership.
Mike Kahn, president and CEO of CAES and a 2021 Wash100 Award recipient, said the new order extends the company’s history of working with L3Harris on defense system development efforts. He also cited CAES’ decades-long experience in offering electronic warfare capabilities, RF, microwave and millimeter wave electronics.
