CAES Systems Holdings , a mission-critical radio frequency technology provider, has agreed to buy Herley Industries and Herley-CTI from Ultra Electronics Defense for an undisclosed sum.
Herley Industries and Herley-CTI produce microwave technology and related products for radars, weapon sensors, flight instrumentation and electronic warfare systems in support of defense and aerospace industry clients.
The transaction was expected to conclude on Friday, March 3, Ultra said Friday.
Defense contractor Ultra Electronics is now part of Cobham following its acquisition in 2022.
According to Ultra, a fairness opinion related to the deal was commissioned and handed over to the trustees and agent in compliance with principal financing agreements.
