TYSONS CORNER, VA, May 23, 2017 CAE (NYSE: CAE) has concluded work to update the Sea King MK41 helicopter simulator of the German navy and facilitate its return to service at the Nordholz Naval Airbase, ExecutiveBiz reported Wednesday.
The company said May 16 it added new features to the simulator such as the CAE Medallion-6000 image generator with Common Database architecture and a new vibration system and brief/debrief station.
The 12-month modernization project also included updated avionics, synthetic and tactical environment simulation software as well as instructor operator station.
