TYSONS CORNER, VA, May 10, 2017 CAE (NYSE: CAE) will provide training on remotely piloted aircraft operations to the United Arab Emirates’ air forces under a potential $40.9 million contract, ExecutiveBiz reported Tuesday.
The company said Monday the contract covers a combination of academic, simulator and live-flying RPA training services, including courseware and curriculum development, from the UAE-based CAE Maritime Middle East over a five-year period.
Gene Colabatistto, president of CAEs defense and security group, noted the company’s previous experience in the delivery of aircrew training for the U.S. Air Force‘s fleet of General Atomics-built MQ-1 Predator and MQ-9 Reaper RPAs.
