TYSONS CORNER, VA, Nov. 18, 2016 CAE (NYSE: CAE) has promoted Joe Armstrong, previously director of training and operation solutions, to vice president and general manager of its Canadian defense and security business unit, GovCon Executive reported Wednesday.
He will be responsible for CAE Canada Defense & Security‘s NATO Flying Training in Canada program, the company’s systems engineering program for the CF-18, the Maritime Helicopter Program and the Halifax Class Modernization initiative, the company said Tuesday.
Gene Colabatistto, president of CAE’s defense and security group, said Armstrong will support the company’s operations to expand as a training systems integrator across air, land, naval and public safety platforms.
