In a statement published Wednesday, John Mengucci, president and CEO of CACI, described TLS BCT Manpack as a “proven, mature system” designed to enhance mission effectiveness through a software-modifiable approach to help the Army win the electromagnetic spectrum fight.
“This new delivery uses commercial software-based technology to rapidly field mobile electronic warfare (EW) capabilities directly into the hands of soldiers operating in high-risk, contested environments,” added Mengucci, a 2025 Wash100 awardee.
The TLS BCT Manpack system is designed to provide signals intelligence and EW capabilities for soldiers at the tactical edge. It also provides brigade combat team commanders with a tactical advantage in support of multidomain operations.
In September 2023, the Army awarded the CACI subsidiary an other transaction authority agreement to build a TLS BCT Manpack prototype for the service branch.
