C3 AI (NYSE: AI) has secured a production other transaction agreement from the Missile Defense Agency to develop an artificial intelligence application for modeling and simulating a hypersonic missile’s flight path.
The Redwood, California-based company said Monday it aims to help the MDA to create physically realistic trajectories and large trajectory datasets at a faster rate using AI technology.
The C3 AI Suite and G3 Generative Modeling Application are designed to accelerate the creation, deployment, integration and life cycle management of MDA’s missile defense systems.
The OTA is a follow-on award to the enterprise AI software provider’s prototyping project with the Defense Innovation Unit.
