The Building People, a real estate and facilities consulting and services firm, has appointed Saima Malik as senior vice president and chief human resources officer.
She will lead the strategic direction and management of The Building People’s workforce and human resource department, the company said Monday.
Throughout her 20-year experience in human resources management, Malik has become an expert in talent acquisition, workforce planning, employee relations, benefits, performance and career management and upskilling.
“Saima’s data-focused approach to driving human resource strategy is imperative for the future growth of the company and the continued engagement of our people-first culture,” said Lawrence Melton, founder, CEO and president of The Building People.
“The Building People is growing rapidly, expanding office locations and deploying team members to many customer sites that requires having an experienced HR executive like Saima to effectively lead people and culture,” said Paul McQuillan, chairman of the company’s advisory board.
