Bruno Pesanti, a technology executive with three decades of combined government and industry experience, has been named lead for the Navy and Marine Corps sector at CGI‘s (NYSE: GIB) federal arm.
The sector Pesanti will oversee is part of CGI Federal’s defense intelligence and space unit and he will also hold the title of vice president of consulting services at the U.S. government-focused subsidiary led by Horace Blackman, the company said Friday.
Pesanti previously served as information technology director and senior solutions executive at digital services provider Array, which CGI Federal acquired in October 2021.
Before Array, he was chief technology officer at Technatomy, where he led development efforts in support of the Defense Logistics Agency and the Department of Veterans Affairs.
His government career included service at the VA as chief information officer of the central office.
CGI Federal also expanded its consulting services team with the promotions of nearly 20-year company veteran Errol McEachron as senior VP and Army veteran Alfred Fraser to VP post.
