GST provides model-based systems engineering, test and evaluation support, research and development and logistics support services for defense and homeland security customers, Sayres Defense said Friday.
Sayres Defense provides mission support services for the Department of Defense and other national security agencies. The company was acquired by Broadtree in 2021.
Broadtree will integrate GST with its portfolio, combining the company with Sayres Defense and Joint Research and Development to be led by Tim Reardon, a GovCon industry leader and a four-time Wash100 awardee.
“We’re extremely excited to add GST to our GovCon platform – GST has a unique culture of customer and mission-focused performance and remarkably talented people supporting critical national security programs across the national security customer community,” said Reardon, CEO of Sayres Defense, JRAD and GST.
“GST and JRAD will enable our customers to have greater access to mission critical engineering domains to serve their most critical missions,” he added.
Holland and Knight acted as legal counsel to Broadtree Partners, Sayres Defense and JRAD in the transaction.
G Squared Capital Partners served as GST’s financial adviser and Miles and Stockbridge acted as legal counsel.
