Brian Thompson, formerly a senior vice president and operations manager of Leidos (NYSE: LDOS), has been appointed VP and general manager of Peraton‘s intelligence mission solutions unit, the Washington Business Journal reported Friday.
Thompson previously oversaw teams focused on intelligence operations and analysis, information technology, network engineering and software development efforts.
His appointment follows the sale of Peraton’s SES Business on Sept. 30 to CTFV Acquisition in a move aimed to allow both the Virginia-based government contractor and the divested business to independently focus core offerings to address mission requirements of defense and intelligence clients.
