Brian Householder
Brian Householder, formerly president and chief operating officer at Hitachi Vantara, will succeed Ryuichi Otsuki as CEO of the Santa Clara, California-based information technology and services contractor in a move that takes effect April 1.
The company said Wednesday Otsuki will transition to the role of deputy general manager of corporate sales and marketing group at Hitachi Vantaras parent company Hitachi Ltd. and will also serve as chairman of Hitachi Americas and Hitachi Global Digital Holdings.
Scott Kelly
Householder previously served as COO at Hitachi Vantaras predecessor, Hitachi Data Systems, and held other senior leadership roles in the areas of business development, acquisitions, worldwide marketing and strategic planning.
He also held product management, marketing and other senior leadership positions at FilesX, Storage Networks,The Parthenon Group and Procter and Gamble (NYSE: PG).
Scott Kelly, formerly chief human resources officer, will succeed Householder as COO in April and will continue to serve as chief transformation officer at Hitachi Vantara.
Kelly held leadership posts at HDS such as senior vice president of client-facing operations and global head of talent management.
The more than 20-year HR professional previously worked at Motorola (NYSE: MSI), Dun & Bradstreet, Nestle and Scottish Power.
