TYSONS CORNER, VA, January 30, 2018 Dan Tucker, vice president in charge of Booz Allen Hamilton‘s (NYSE: BAH) digital platform capability team, has said federal agencies looking to transition workloads to the cloud must first ensure scalability and extensibility in their assessment of their data architecture, ExecutiveBiz reported Jan. 23.
Tucker told Meritalk in a report published Jan. 22 that having a data strategy almost at the application and portfolio level — with guidance on security and governance, among others — is important to pursue a “cloud smart” approach, and agency chief data officers, chief information officers and cloud management offices will need to work together on this strategy.
