The executive brings to Booz Allen extensive experience as a product leader.
He previously served as a general manager at Amazon Web Services, where he oversaw initiatives that drove $100 million in annual revenue and supported over 1 million customers. In his LinkedIn profile, he also said that AWS achieved 99.9 percent service availability across multiple regions during his time at the cloud provider.
Before AWS, he was the product management VP for Certes Network and was involved in the company’s transition from a hardware virtual private network supplier to a cloud and virtualization firm.
Prior to Certes, he led product road map development at Trustwave, a cybersecurity company that was acquired by The Chertoff Group affiliate advisory firm MC2 Security Fund in January 2024.
Earlier in his career, Cignetti held director roles at ECI Telecom.
The product leader holds a bachelor’s degree in computer engineering from Carnegie Mellon University and a master’s degree in computer science from Duke University.
