The U.S. Navy has awarded Boeing (NYSE: BA) a potential $179 million contract to provide a H12K system configuration kit for Kuwait air force’s F/A-18E/F Super Hornet fleet.
Boeing will deliver the item needed to develop, modify, integrate, test and support the aircraft’s software under the “undefinitized” contract action, the Defense Departmentsaid Friday.
The company will perform work in St. Louis, Mo., through September 2022
The Navy will obligate $89.3 million in foreign military sales funds at the time of award.
