Boeing (NYSE: BA) has received a $143.4 million contract modification from the Defense Logistics Agency to supply consumable items for various aircraft in support of the U.S. Army, Navy, Air Force and foreign military sales customers.
The Defense Departmentsaid Thursday the performance-based award is a modification to a previously awarded contract with a five-year base period and one five-year option and has a 90-percent availability metric.
Boeing will carry out work in Missouri through Sept. 16, 2019, under the sole-source acquisition.
DLA is funding the project through its fiscal 2017, 2018 and 2019 defense working capital and FMS funds.
