TYSONS CORNER, VA, July 24, 2018 Boeing (NYSE: BA) has submitted designs for the U.S. Air Force‘s future intercontinental ballistic missile system following a review of requirements under the Ground-Based Strategic Deterrent program, ExecutiveBiz reported Monday.
The company said Friday the GBSD design options fulfill a program milestone as it prepares for a system functional review later this year and preliminary design review in 2020 in support of the Air Force’s deterrence efforts against nuclear threats.
