TYSONS CORNER, VA, March 1, 2018 Boeing (NYSE: BA) and Northrop Grumman (NYSE: NOC) are working to develop designs for the U.S. Air Force‘s Ground-Based Strategic Deterrent intercontinental ballistic missile following technology maturation and risk reduction work, ExecutiveBiz reported Wednesday.
Space News reported Tuesday the Air Force will assess the design concepts in 2019 and make a selection by 2020 as the service branch aims to replace the Minuteman III system.
