Boeing (NYSE: BA) will manufacture and deliver full-rate production maritime aircraft for the U.S. Navy under a $416.4 million contract modification.
The modification covers three Lot 9 P-8A multi-mission aircraft for the service branch, the Defense Departmentsaid Thursday.
Work will run through October 2020 in the U.K. as well as California, Illinois, Maryland, New York, North Dakota, Washington and other sites within the U.S.
The modification value obligated at the time of award will be fully covered by the Navy’s fiscal 2018 aircraft procurement funds.
Naval Air Systems Command performed the contracting activity.
