TYSONS CORNER, VA, April 10, 2018 Boeing (NYSE: BA) has expanded its missile plant in Huntsville, Alabama, in an effort to speed the production of a weapons system designed to protect the U.S. from hostile missiles and aircraft, ExecutiveBiz reported Monday.
The move will also create 70 new jobs to help triple the delivery of the Patriot Advanced Capability-3 missile from the new 28,000-square-foot facility, Alabama Local News reported Saturday.
Alabama Governor Kay Ivey said the expansion highlights the need for national defense as well as additional jobs for the people of the state.
