Boeing Awarded $9.8B Contract to Modernize Saudi F-15 Fleet

Boeing (NYSE: BA) has secured a potential 10-year, $9.8B contract from the U.S. Air Force to modernize and sustain Saudi Arabia's F-15 aircraft fleet

The Department of Defense said Tuesday the company will build hardware, software and interface, manufacture subsystems and structural components, update weapon systems and install modifications as part of the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract.

USAF concurrently awarded a $1.03M initial delivery order to Boeing using foreign military sales modification and development type 4F funds.

The IDIQ award has a five-year base ordering period that runs through November 2025, followed by a five-year option period.
