Bob Deane, former chief operating officer at Global Com, was elevated to the role of CEO at the Sterling, Virginia-based provider of information technology services, according to his LinkedIn announcement.
Prior to joining Global Com in October 2020, Deane was with VTG for over four years. He first served as the latter’s vice president of business development and maritime operations and then transitioned to the role of chief operating officer.
His career also includes time working as COO at Osprey Technology Solutions, enterprise solutions officer within the COO office at DSCI and chief information officer and senior vice president of business development at EPS Corp.
