The Defense Logistics Agency has awarded Bluewater Defense a potential $118.7 million modification to exercise a one-year option on a previously awarded contract for the supply of military uniforms.
Bluewater Defense will deliver various uniforms to the U.S. Army, U.S. Navy and the Afghan military under the contract option, the Defense Departmentsaid Thursday.
Work will be conducted in Puerto Rico, Texas and North Carolina through July 31, 2018.
DLA Troop Support will finance the modification with fiscal 2017 to fiscal 2018 defense working capital and foreign military sales funds.
The award is the fourth and last option in the Bluwater Defense’s firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract with DLA.
