Black & Veatch has appointed Steve Scott, Mohan Singh, John Somerville and Rod Staponski to vice president roles as part of the company’s federal service expansion strategy.
“Based throughout the U.S., these four experts bring tremendous experience in defense-related program management, Randy Castro, president of the federal business at Black & Veatch, said in a statement released Tuesday.
He added all four appointees will help broaden the firm’s knowledge base, client relationship and understanding in key areas of government programs.
Scott will be the Navy account lead with responsibility over strategic business development and naval client relations worldwide. He brings four decades of architecture, engineering and construction industry experience.
Singh, a U.S. Army Corps of Engineers veteran and former executive at AECOM (NYSE: ACM), will lead Black & Veatchs security assistance, critical infrastructure, civil works, environmental and classified programs for the Army.
Somerville will help expand design-build service offerings and lead indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity and original equipment manufacturer management programs in his new position. He previously managed AECOM’s federal facilities business line.
Staponski will be the construction services lead and manage the development and expansion of program management and construction management operations, construction and design-build services and overall market approach. He is a U.S. Air Force veteran and has 40 years of experience working in engineering, environmental and infrastructure projects.
