Billie Hartless
Billie Hartless, formerly human resources vice president at location-based cloud technology company HERE, has been appointed chief human resources officer at Polycom.
The collaboration platform provider said Monday Hartless will succeed Laura Owen, who will move on to a new opportunity outside the company.
“[Hartless] has a strong track record of leading diverse teams, organizational change, cultural transformation and defining effective strategies to realize business results, ” said Polycom CEO Mary McDowell.
Hartless’ appointment comes less than five months after investment firm Siris Capital acquired Polycom through a $2 billion deal in September 2016.
She has served as human resources VP at Nokia and as an HR personnel at Verizon(NYSE: VZ).
The 25-year HR veteran joins McDowell and Chief Financial Officer Laura Durr in Polycom’s lineup of women executives, the company noted.
