Bill Washburn, a more than 30-year information technology executive, has joined software company MarkLogic as federal chief technology officer, G2Xchange ETC reported Monday.
He brings to the role over three decades of leadership experience in enterprise IT, integration, engineering, business development and technical and line management.
Washburn serves as CEO and managing partner of Washburn Consulting. He previously worked at IT Availability as an adviser and at Informatica as director of business strategy and operations.
He is an Army veteran who held business development leadership roles at Praescient Analytics, Vencore, Octo Consulting Group and QinetiQ North America. He previously served as a program manager at Science Applications International Corp. (NYSE: SAIC) and senior network engineer at Raytheon (NYSE: RTN).
