Barrett will oversee the Columbia, Maryland-based firm’s consulting, analytics, cyber and other digital transformation service offerings for the federal market, BigBear said Thursday.
His 500-person organization serves the defense and intelligence communities. He is also in charge of business development efforts in that sector.
BigBear also elevated Dan Jones, Sean Ricker and Andre Hentz to the roles of chief products officer, chief accounting officer and chief transformation officer, respectively.
Jones, formerly senior vice president of products, will additionally serve as an adviser to the company on matters related to federal defense and intelligence clients.
Ricker, who previously held the corporate controller role, will be responsible for developing financial strategies and driving the company’s expansion into new business areas as CAO.
Hentz, most recently chief administrative officer, will lead organizational improvement and operational efficiency initiatives as transformation chief.
Barrett, Jones and Hentz will report to Reggie Brothers, CEO of BigBear and a two-time Wash100 awardee, while Ricker will report to Chief Financial Officer Julie Peffer.
