A Bechtel subsidiary has landed three contracts potentially worth $1.76B combined to supply nuclear propulsion components for installation in U.S. Navy submarines and aircraft carriers.
Naval Sea Systems Command will provide $1.34B in fiscal 2019 shipbuilding, conversion and “other” procurement funds at the time of award to Bechtel Plant Machinery Inc., the Defense Departmentsaid Friday.
Work will take place in Monroeville, Pa., and Schenectady, N.Y.
