National Aerospace Solutions, a joint venture led by Bechtel, has received a $179M U.S. Air Force contract modification to continue testing support services at the Arnold Engineering Development Complex in Tennessee.
NAS will help the service branch sustain equipment and facilities, support technological development, perform capital improvements and manage test operations, the Department of Defense said Wednesday.
The modification adds a third option year under a potential $1.5B contract awarded in 2015 and increases the potential contract value to $931.5M.
Work under the exercised option runs through June 30, 2020.
Bechtel formed the NAS consortium with GP Strategies and Sierra Lobo to primarily support test, operations and sustainment functions at AEDC.
