Battelle said Monday Mohadjer’s promotion will take effect on Oct. 1.
Mohadjer previously served as VP of government business development for the health business unit of Battelle. In this role, she managed life sciences research, medical device development, precision health and other front-end business development efforts across the federal market space.
Before joining Battelle, Mohadjer was the director of business development and strategy at Social & Scientific Systems, later acquired by DLH Holdings (Nasdaq: DLHC). She also served as business development and strategy lead at Leidos Health (NYSE: LDOS).
Mohadjer spent more than seven years at Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT), serving in various leadership roles including strategy lead and partner manager for health and life sciences, in which she led and developed the company’s health information technology strategy.
Matt Vaughan, executive VP of applied science and technology at Battelle, underscored Mohadjer’s extensive experience, saying, “Roya has a deep understanding of the federal marketspace and passion to create a safer, healthier and more secure world through science and technology.”
