The U.S. Air Force has awarded three nonprofit organizations positions on the unrestricted full and open portion of a potential $28 billion contract vehicle for research and development support services to the Pentagon’s Defense Technical Information Center.
Battelle, MRIGLobal and Southwest Research Institute will vie for task orders to provide chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear defense laboratories under pool 3 of DTICs Information Analysis Center Multiple Award Contract, the Defense Departmentsaid Friday.
The Air Force Installation Contracting Agency will distribute $10,800 as a minimum-order guarantee at the time of award. Work is expected to be completed by Oct. 29, 2027.
DoD sought proposals in October 2017 for the IAC-MAC contract, which includes work for defense systems, cybersecurity and information systems and homeland defense and security.
IAC-MAC follows previous DTIC contracts that are slated to expire between 2019 and 2020.
