Jonathan Evans, president of Bart & Associates since 2015, has assumed additional duties as CEO of the McLean, Va.-based government information technology services contractor.
Evans appointment took effect Friday, June 1, after he was elected by the board of directors to succeed Kion Yap, who will continue to serve as a board member, B&A said Wednesday.
Paul Mangus, B&A cofounder and an executive vice president; and Jesus Medrano, an EVP, will resign from their current posts and continue to serve on the board.
Evans has put in place a talented management team and with them he has built the corporate infrastructure upon which B&A will continue to innovate and evolve, Yap said.
Evans brings to his role more than 14 years of federal contracting experience in the field of service delivery, strategic growth and executive management focused on systems integration and enterprise application development.
He previously served as VP of service delivery and director of enterprise resource planning delivery at B&A.
Evans worked at IBMs (NYSE: IBM) global business services division as a project manager for the Interior Department and the Customs and Border Protection prior to his move to B&A.
