Barrios Technology, a Houston-based aerospace engineering company, has received a potential $364M contract to provide program support services to NASA's Johnson Space Center located in the Texas city.
Barrios and its subcontractor, ARES Technical Services, will support JSC’s human spaceflight missions as part of the Human Space Flight Technical Integration Contract, which covers mission support for International Space Station and Artemis programs, NASA said Friday.
The agreement includes products, services, mission support and technical integration services for the Orion capsule and proposed lunar Gateway, according to NASA.
Phase-in activities will last for 60 days beginning on Aug. 2, followed by a two-year base period that will commence on Oct. 1.
The agreement contains three one-year options, including an option for program planning and control services to cover a one-year base period plus four one-year extensions.
Established in 1980, Barrios is a woman-owned and operated company that offers a range of engineering and technical services to the aerospace market.
