Baris Yener, former senior vice president and chief growth officer at ICF (Nasdaq: ICFI), has assumed the CGO position at Rockville, Maryland-headquartered consulting and research companyAbt Associates.
Yener will oversee strategic capture, business development and growth strategy, sales enablement, marketing and communications in his new capacity, Abt Associates said Thursday.
“He is especially skilled at aligning company service offerings with client needs and could not be a better fit with our mission of helping move people from vulnerability to security,” said Kathleen Flanagan, president and CEO of Abt Associates.
Previously, Yener spent 13 years at Booz Allen Hamilton (NYSE: BAH) and held positions at Alion Science and Technology, the Corporate Executive Board, Washington Asset Management and Direct Export.
