BAE's Martha Shepard, Vencore's Barry Barlow Receive 4x24 Chairman Awards; Jim Garrettson Comments

Executive Mosaic has recognized Martha Shepard, vice president of contracts at BAE Systems Inc., and Barry Barlow, senior VP and and chief technology officer at Vencore, for their service to their community of peers through the 4×24 Leadership Program.

Both industry veterans completed a full year of service as chairman of 4×24 groups.

Executive Mosaic CEO and Founder Jim Garrettson said that with their service, Barlow and Shepard brought the government and government contractors much closer together on their shared goal of supporting the mission.

Shepard leads policy formulation and professional development functions at BAE’s U.S. and foreign-based entities. Before joining BAE, she helped Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT)-acquired Sanders Associates manage aircraft maintenance and modification contracts with commercial and foreign government customers.

She served as moderator of the Potomac Officers Club’s FY18 Budgets and Procurement Forum in October 2017.

Barlow has been Vencore’s CTO since 2013. He previously worked at the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency as director for online GEOINT services and as director of its acquisition directorate.

He received Executive Mosaic’s Top CTO Executives Award in 2016.
