BAE Systems' technology solutions and services business has secured a five-year, $85.9M contract to engineer systems for the U.S. Navy's combat integration and identification systems division.
The company will help the military branch design, integrate, produce, install, test and evaluate identification and data link technology for naval ship and shore assets worldwide, the Department of Defense said Thursday.
Work also involves in-service engineering, logistics, repair, validation, laboratory maintenance, training, quality assurance and technical management support services.
The Naval Air Warfare Center's aircraft division received one offer for the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract via a competitive acquisition process.
BAE TSS will perform services in Patuxent River and Rockville, Md., through June 2025.
