TYSONS CORNER, VA, Sept. 2, 2016 BAE Systems has entered into an agreement with the government of Australia for the company to update its Type 26 Global Combat Ship in response to requirements set in the Australian naval force’s SEA 5000 Future Frigate program, ExecutiveBiz reported Thursday.
BAE said Thursday its Australia-based engineer team will work with their U.K. counterparts to work on a new design for the combat ship that can integrate a required phased-array radar system made by CEA Technologies.
