The Navy tapped BAE Systems Technology Solutions and Services to provide a range of support services, including engineering services, installation engineering, equipment integration and overhauls, according to a Department of Defense announcement Monday. The cost-plus-fixed-fee, cost-plus-award-fee, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract also covers support services on design engineering for airborne capabilities, test and evaluation, and user and maintainer training.
Register in the Potomac Officers Club’s 2025 Navy Summit on Aug. 26 to explore other potential contract opportunities in the service branch. The event’s discussions will focus on technology advancements, policies and trends shaping the future of naval operations.
Per-Task Order Funding
Work will be conducted in St. Inigoes, Maryland, with expected completion in October 2030. The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Patuxent River, Maryland, is the contracting activity. The contract will not obligate any funding at the time of the award and will only allocate funds as individual task orders are issued.
NAWCAD Patuxent was also the contracting activity in a $91.5 million IDIQ contract that BAE Systems TSS earlier secured in August 2023 to provide software development and maintenance, technical support and fleet services. The contract, scheduled to be completed in February 2029, covers services for the Navy, Marine Corps, Military Sealift Command, Coast Guard and U.S. allies, also on a task-order basis.
