Peder Jungck, chair of Executive Mosaic’s 4×24 Senior Intel Group, has assumed the responsibilities as chief innovation and strategy officer for the intelligence and security sector at BAE Systems. The executive confirmed his new role in a LinkedIn post Monday.
As CSIO, he will oversee the I&S’s delivery of IT, cybersecurity, intelligence analysis and systems integration services to customers in national security, defense and government sectors.
Who is Peder Jungck?
Jungck brings to the role decades of leadership experience in business and technology. Before he was appointed to CSIO, he served as vice president and general manager for intelligence solutions at BAE for over seven years. He also led as VP and chief technology officer for the I&S sector at the defense technology provider.
Prior to joining BAE in 2013, Jungck was appointed to senior VP and CTO for the cybersecurity business unit at SAIC.
Jungck founded and led a cybersecurity firm called CloudShield, which was later on acquired by SAIC.
His resume also includes leadership positions at Silicon Valley Internet Capital, Yesmail, Remington Associates and TerraGlyph Interactive.
Jungck has a bachelor’s degree in mathematics and computer science from Beloit College.
