TYSONS CORNER, VA, Jan. 5, 2018 A BAE Systems-led team is working to design and manufacture a common armament testing platform for the U.S. Air Force‘s B-1B, B-2A and B-52H bomber aircraft under a potential $64.5 million contract, ExecutiveBiz reported Thursday.
BAE partner Marvin Test Solutionssaid Wednesday the Bomber Armament Tester system will serve to test all bomb ejector racks, rotary launchers and pylon assemblies, with an estimated 90 BAT to be delivered in three increments over nine years.
