TYSONS CORNER, VA, Jan. 19, 2018 ” BAE Systems could see a new international order for nine Hawk trainer aircraft after Qatari Defense Minister Khalid Bin Mohammad Al-Attiyah indicated government plans to increase its procurement from six trainers, ExecutiveBiz reported Thursday.
Dow Jones Newswires reported Wednesday that Al-Attiyah declared the new total during an event at the Royal United Services Institute in the U.K. and said the plan is part of Qatar’s efforts to reduce its reliance on other countries to address national security needs.
