Peder Jungck
Peder Jungck, chief technology officer of BAE Systems‘ intelligence and security business, will serve as president of a nonprofit industry organization that aims to facilitate cyber threat information sharing and collaboration in the technology sector.
The company said Tuesday Jungck will lead the Information Technology – Information Sharing and Analysis Center as it works with the Department of Homeland Security to support threat mitigation, risk management and cyber response efforts in the global information infrastructure.
“Industry collaboration through crowdsourcing is an effective way to share the rewards of a safer cyberspace at a reduced cost,” Jungck said.
“CTI sharing is the logical first step for any organization seeking to implement a holistic cyber defense strategy.”
Jungck has worked on information assurance, secure computing and network security throughout his approximately 20-year experience in the IT industry.
