BAE Systems ship repair business in Norfolk, Va., has won a potential two-year, $151.3M contract to provide maintenance, modernization and repair services for the USS Gettysburg.
The Defense Departmentsaid Monday the company will also offer facilities and personnel who will conduct the ship maintenance work under the firm-fixed-price procurement contract.
BAE will perform the work through March 2020.
The U.S. Navy will obligate $146.3M from fiscal 2018 operations and maintenance and other procurement funding.
