TYSONS CORNER, VA, Feb. 1, 2018 BAE Systems will provide updated precision guidance kits to the U.S. Army under an $8 million contract in efforts to increase the accuracy of 155-millimeter artillery munitions, ExecutiveBiz reported Wednesday.
The company said Tuesday the contract from the Defense Ordnance Technology Consortium covers the delivery of guidance kits that will work to enable a function for the munitions to change trajectory during flight even in environments with degraded GPS signals.
